Hotpoint BWD129 Fault

Hi I have been asked to go and see this machine in the morning.
The customer has told me that it has 2 lights flashing and the door lock light. From the top its light 1 door lock and 2 super wash. The whitegoods fault code guide says fault code F12 Communication error. Has anyone had this before and if so what can be done to sort it?

Try unplugging all conns from both pcb’s – squeeze plugs to tighten and refit – if this doesnt work then send main board to EMW
