    Hi
My Hotpoint BWD129 has the Door Locked light and the 1200/600 light flashing very quickly. I have cleaned out the filter (there was a 10p coin in it) and have tried again however the machine automatically goes back to the flashing lights scenario.
    What should I do?

I know you said you checked your filter but I want to expain how where and what to do. If your washing machine bwd129 keeps cutting out and not spinning it could be a blocked filter and the water isnt be let out. This causes the bottom lights to flash. At the front bottom right corner there is a filter turn it anti clockwise if it doesnt move much keep turning it back and forth to dislodge the trapped item until it opens (may take some time) alot of water will come out so have a towel ready. Remove item eg penny and put filter back in test wash see if it worked. If your is fitted quite often your bottom bits of kitn sqirting will just be clipped in. Find the one that pulls out free first and the other will pull outafter you will prob need to remove all bpttom bits of wpod tp gain access to filter. Hope this helps anyone , took me a week to figure it out.
