ParticipantHi all,
First time on these forums. Have had a read through and searched for this problem, found similar issues but they don’t appear to be the same.Anyway, I’ll greatly appreciate some help as the pile of washing is mounting!!
We have a Hotpoint BWD129 integrated washer/dryer,History: about 2 months ago we had the flashing light fault which turned out to be the drain hose blocked solid with scale (i think after a descaler had been added to the machine). The drain hose was replaced and all was well until now.
Now we had the flashing lights again, And again I have found the drain hose to be blocked, this time with some rubbish, coins & buttons at the waste trap. The blockage was cleared as well as the filter on the front of the machine.
I thought that would cure the problem, but it hasn’t. It now seems that near the end of the cycle the door locked led, The ‘super wash’ and the ‘1200/600’ leds are flashing. Even with the drain hose laying in the sink.
I have tried disconnecting the power supply for 40 secs then trying again but the same thing happens.
The machine appears to be draining fine, I have removed the pump and checked hose’s, which they appear to be ok, I found alot of rubish behind the seal that covers the magnet on the pump shaft, so have cleaned up. The pump is operating correctly.
Sorry about the long explanation.
Thanks in advance .

Thanks for your reply.
In order of top to bottom led’s 2 and 4 are flashing. Also another strange thing has happened: on the last 2 attempts the machine was doing a dry cycle even though it was not selected. So have unplugged for 30 min, now trying again.
Thanks Again

Just another thing to add:
Which ever cycle I do the machine will dry afterwards with all the Wash,Rinse, spin and dry leds lit. Even though the drying selector switch is turned to zero.Creeky
