hotpoint bwd129 integrated washer dryer

hi went to above machine about 2 months ago fitted new element been working fine but now its got another fault the on off switch just flashes.. no response to start switching off or resetting at plug.. no other lights on…. door lock doesn’t engage. tried another lock but no difference …any pointers in right direction would be appreciated.. thanks

did you check brushes some machine wont start if brushes open circuit ?

have you had a look at the buttons on the top control panel to make sure there are no dry joints where the switches solder to the board ?
