Hotpoint BWD129 no fault code showing

Hi gents
called on a bwd129 to find customer say it will not spin fully tried on spin & all that happens is that it revolves at wash speed pump on then stops wash speed pump on then stops and so on treid on wash cycle fills to correct level motor sumps up as thou no taco control & stops reverses then sumps up as thou no taco control
customer says it completes it programme poor spin will not pick up anyone come across this suspect pcb manufacture date on pcb july 07 is this a pcb which will need a smart card to get it going.

Sumps up?????? Do you mean ramps up?

Unless there is a loose motor plug connection or other wiring harness break then it does sound like a PCB failure. most of the replacement modules now need a smart card and reader. 😥
