    Hi there,

we have a Hotpoint/Indesit BWD129 (I know it’s not a great machine…….I’ve read most of this forum!). We came home from holiday and put our first load of washing on a 40 degree wash, we walked away from the washer , to get on with other tasks. Two hours later we went back into the kitchen to discover that the wash cycle had boil washed the clothes…..there was steam coming from the door, and the machine was very hot

The machine was turned off and emptied; and an old washing machine plumbed in in it’s place so that we could get on with washing the rest of the family’s clothes from our two weeks away

We need to find a solution as the machine we are currently using is a standard size machine and sticks out of the cupboard space blocking access to the under the sink cupboard door, and is sitting at an angle as it will not fit completely into the space in the fitted kitchen and is half resting on the laminated floor boards, half on the concrete under the cabinets.

When I plugged in the BWD129 today, but not plumbed in to water/drainage, the “door locked” light kept flashing, but no other LEDs………Any help you guys can offer on this would be appreciated. We are in rented house and the landlord does not seem interested in helping us out!

    Cheers,

    Martin
