    Hi

I have a problem with the drum paddles on my bwm12. Basically the drum paddles have snapped off. I fitted some new ones myself, they did it again! thinking i had made some sort off mistake i had a washer repair man fit them again, they did the same thing. Instead of being moulded into the machine these paddles are just plastic moulded pieces that slot into the drumand don’t seem to be up to the job I’m presuming that some other people have encountered this problem and hope to find out how they rectified the problem.

    Yours hopefully TimT

    Hi
The new paddles i fitted and had fitted snapped off on the first wash after the fit. It was a normal load too 🙁 so don’t know if the drums knackered. I’m sort of presuming it must be.
The washer repair man says he can’t get a new drum for it so there’s nothing else he can do. We’re going phone hotpoint for advice i suspect this could be a design fault on this model?
So far i have a broken washer and a dishwasher too. Not having much look at the moment. :rolls:

Sounds like you have to find the object between inner and outer drum.
Unplug power if you are going in.

How many years have you had the machine?
How many washes have you done since you bought it?

If the paddle situation was a design fault you would of had trouble way before now.

As already stated the foreign object damage is much more likely.
