Noticed the dial spinning around with a full load.
So checked the filter and cleared out a couple of coins and thought problem solved!
Stuck the washing on a spin, the drum spun once and stopped and the dial started clicking. After looking on this website I concluded from the the flashing lights that the fault code is 2.
The drum spins freely enough and isn’t running erratic.
Tried different programs and it faults after a couple of minutes.
Two things I’ve not checked is does it spin both ways and I have not got the washing machine out to strip down and check the drum for any that could be slowing the drum down, but will do tomorrow.
Not stripped a washing machine down, so any advice/tips would be greateful.
Found that drum is only rotating anti clockwise.
Can hear a relay switch when changing direction, but no movement.
I would of thought the motor should be ok as it is working in one direction.
So does this mean the controller is knackered?
Allsorts, it does fill, but then faults after spinning a couple of times anti-clockwise. It then pumps out the water, so that seems ok to me.
Cheers Johnnyj. Around £100 for the module (probably have to get it out to get the part no.), is there a way of testing it or any lights on the board to show its operation?
