    For a friend…

    All sorts of noises and:
    Error f8(?)
    The door lock light flashing in pairs.
    The delay start light flashing.

    Any thoughts on what might be the problem and the potential cost?

    Any noises are usually bad news on their own, coupled with an F08 fault which is ‘supposed’ to be a fault on the main circuit board it could well be time to replace this machine.
