Hotpoint C00380702 heating element part to fit Hotpoint TVFS73BGG(UK) tumble dryer

Hi

I ordered a spare part for my Hotpoint TVFS73BGG tumble dryer as it seemed easy to fit. The dryer hadn’t been producing hot air and so either the thermostat or heating element had gone.

When I’ve come to connect the new part, the internal wiring colours don’t 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} match those on the part plastic cartridge and it looks like to get them to fit would mean connecting 2x blue and orange internal wires to brown, white and orange wiring on the plastic plug.

I’m not electrically qualified and wanted to know if this is correct and safe.
