    Hi

As a new member please bear with me, our Cannon cooker about 18 months old trips out the main RCD when a saucepan over boils or when too much liquid id use to clean the hob plate.
On inspection it appears that water gets between the burner pot and the hob plate as there does not appear to be seal to stop this, we have never had this happen on previous cookers so wonder if no seals where fitted during product assembly.
I have searched on line retailers for a seal but had no luck but surely there must be a seal to stop water from accessing the electrical connectors for the ignition spark.
    All advice gratefully received

    Hi

The majority of manufacturers no longer use gaskets. If you continue to boil over reduce the water you have in the saucepan as your also wasting your electricity by boiling more water than is needed.

Manufacturers also advise wipe down with a damp cloth not a water logged one.
