Hotpoint CDT40 flashing lights and stops mid cycle

Hi,

My dryer seems to have developed a couple of faults.

First occasionally it stops mid cycle with on beep and the front panel lights are flashing.

The second fault is that the dryer just stops mid cycle with no flashing lights etc? even though the desired time hasn’t elapsed.

Can anyone help on this.

the doors probably warped

if you open the door, theres a pin at the 12 oclock position, and that operates the switch

i bend the door a little so the pin is nearer the switch

that normally does it
