Hotpoint combination 8952 fridge wont stay cold

Hi can anyone offer advice.
my Hotpoint fridge wont stay cold, the fridge plate at the back is not getting cold at all, the freezer part seems to be working fine. I think it is possibly the Thermostat, but have read other articals in this forum that suggest it could be the thermistor. can anyone advise on how I check or a procedure to follow to ensure I get the right part.

This is an older frost free model with two compressors (motors) and no electronics 😉

Almost certainly the thermostat Dcfan (it’s nice to have fans :lol:)

Part number 261055 if you’re planning on doing this yourself but please remember to switch off :zap:

The part can be obtained by emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

If you’re unsure, check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

Thanks Dave for the advice, replaced the thermostat and its now working.
I’m definatly a DCfan now 🙂
