Hotpoint Cooker EW83 Ceramic Hob Obsolete?

Hi,

Customer tells me this machine is only 4yrs old with a cracked hob.

Connect tell me it is obsolete. I can`t believe this, especially when I
realise that my cooker is the same model 👿

Is there an alternative?

Hi,

I omitted to say that the colour of the cooker is black and is the EW83K 😳

This is not the same colour as mine 😕

C00229624 as listed on Partfinder for the EW83K. Not marked as obsolete, so might still be available 😯 if it`s not.

Thanks Don,

This has been time consuming to say the least.

I have now contacted H/point direct and they tell me that it is still available
and in stock.

I have pointed this out to Connect and they are making enquiries and getting
back to me.
