    Cracked it! I thought of using a thin allen key, but it didn’t protrude enough through the top of the lifter to get purchase. In the end I got a normal wire coat-hanger and made a 90degree angle about 15mm from the end. I lifted the tab a little, slid the lifter into place, then poked the wire through the 5th hole from the front, got the 15mm under the tab and eased it up. Fiddly, but eventually got there.
