hi iv been told that it starts for a few seconds then stops dead . customer tried on cool and worked for a couple of mins and then dead . i went out yesterday started it and a second later it stopped and now will not come back on at all no lights ? fuse all ok ….. customer says she had this prob before when it was new and hotpint replace thermostat and told her to keep vents clear iv looked at thermo all seem ok any ideas thanks alan

Check door micro switch operation, I have had one or two failing in this way.

How old is it, ones made from approx june/07 if the stats go open circuit the whole machine goes dead no lights nothing, other than that i’d be thinking module i’m afraid.
