Hotpoint CTD – Empty Water Light on

[A1_Domestics]

Got one of these where the light has come on and won’t turn off.

I’ve tried changing/checking the:

pump
float switch Relay
Door stat

No joy.

My conclusion is the module is faulty, but I would appreciate any help or technical bumpf.

It’s a ctd 40 but I’ld appreciate the same info on an 85 as well for another job tomorrow.

check the wires that go along the back panel under the drum have not been rubbed away by the drum .

I checked the wires for continuity and to earth. It is the module at fault. So… I’ll be giving EMW a call today. Thanks Guys.
