customer complaining of no heat fault, he changed thermostats himself and got them wrong way round, so i corrected them unblocked condensor unblocked filter and gave it good test out for 20 mins. when i left it seemed to be working fine, next customers back on the phone complaining of same fault no heat?

either its overheated and the one shot has gone or as before stats ok and no heat fault? any ideas?

these machines dont seem as straight forward as older condensors with green stat kit on, i hate the barmy way the element assembly is screwed to backplate.

A badly blocked condensor is a common cause on these machines. Its a real PITA to clean out now it has the plastic front on it although if it has the two screws in the side it is possible to remove the front to clean but it is definitely not user friendly. 😥

i think id be changing the capacitor

commonly, they break down under load after about 30 mins, and the stats pop out

    hope this helps?

Thanks jim already cleaned out condenser i agree can be a pig to clean

ill give the cap a try, how does it effect the stat to trip out on overheat?
