check the timer make sure it does not snatch the belt when reversing, you may have to watch it for quite a while

You could always try a gen belt, C00116358 but they do go through belts faster than the old double jockey pulley dryers.
Is the black plastic pulley in good order on this machine?

I would change the pulley and fit a gen belt, most of the belts I have changed on these recently have had broken or badly worn pulleys.

I find one these once disturbed they can take some tweaking to get to settle and tune fine again.

If a new belt is snapping its normally due to the drum seizing and the belt burns on the motor, when you did the rear bearing you may need to add a washer or two on the shaft to keep the drum forward enough to stay on the front bearings. Also if the rear seal is worn it won’t hold the drum forward enough to keep it on.

I had one two weeks ago that took 4 visits to get rite.
