From the brief information you have given I would respectfully suggest you step back. There are no brushes in this machine. If you remove lots of screws that you really shouldn’t you will have a very hard time putting it back together. Side panels are the initial access points on these machines.
First unplug from mains, then remove the top and check if the belt is still round the drum. If it is, can you hear a faint humming noise when switched on?
May be better to see if we have someone who can help, click the link in my sig to check if we have an engineer in your area.
Why would you want to replace it, it is still covered by Hotpoint’s 5 year parts warranty, something that you will not be able to claim on if you ‘mess it up’ 🙂
