hotpoint ctd32 blowing stats

needsome help from you fellas.i had this problem with this machine ….. it blew the green spotted stat a couple of weeks ago.ilooked up all the relevant posts/links on this invaluable forum,checked everything,…heater,relay,capacitor etc,….all fine so i put prob down to airflow …..checked and cleaned condensor and chambers…fitted new stats all fine for few days then it blew again!thought about it again and then remembered pulling a small15mm diameter dense rubber ball out of air intake chamber on bottom right of machine.i put it down to the ankle biters but now think its more sinister…… any suggestions?

Think you need to check that model number, do you mean TDC32?

One of the fans is behind that vent, bottom right. It could have damaged the fan, rear fan may be loose, capacitor could be failing.

No rubber balls fitted as standard on these. 😉
