    Hi,
    Can someone point me in the right direction on my Hotpoint tumble dryer CTD40.When start button is pressed a message comes up ’empty water’ when the water vessel is empty. Any suggestions to resolve this would be most welcome.

    It could be a sticking float in the pump chamber at the back.
