im having a nightmare with this machine i have pulled it into the workshop.the original fault was no heat and a prev “engineer” had been out and reset the toc using a pin 😯 .the fault then reoccured so cust asked if i would take a look.I found the toc o/c so ordered a stat kit which came as 3 stats which was strange as the original only has 2 so i matched and changed the 2.it now runs for a little while then faults 1,2 and 4 which is rear ntc.

Can anyone explain why 3 stats where sent but only space and wiring for 2 on the machine,serial 509210007.

depends doesnt it

some came with 3 stats ( one shot, cycling and ntc)

some came with 2 ( ntc and one shot)

youve ordered the wrong kit

This machine has had a few changes, two stats & ntc, one stat & one ntc, back again and so on.

There are also two different ntc’s.

I will send you some bedtime reading. 😉

Correct kit should be C00208298 with a white NTC not a black one.

thanks for the replies and the manual will have a peruse.my spares company who are hotpoint agents said there where 2 kits on this model and ser no and i have the correct one with 3 stats.nightmare

You should have refitted the one shot stat and the white ntc and discarded the cycling stat.

thats what i done and now i have the faut coming up re faulty ntc.
