    Hi. I have a hotpoint ctd40g tumble dryer. I have a series of flashing lights but can’t find any topic that relates to the same lights that i have. After switching on the dryer it will turn once and then stop, it will pause and the cool tumble light will come on. It will continue to turn for 2 minutes and pause again, Then the start/stop light flashes along with the high heat light and alarm light. It will then start again but doesn’t heat up. I have changed the heater elements and has had a new thermostat kit but still i have the same problem. Could someone please help me with this.

    This dryer will almost certainly be one of the recalled, fire risk machines, has it had the safety modification done?

    No it hasn’t had the modification done. I’ll will pursue this first.
