Hotpoint CTD80 error code 15

The hotpoint website says` Dynamic heater relay with contact welded closed-book a service engineer(not after last time)

Is this fixable by myself or not? what is it? a relay is a fairly common thing could i just get a new one ?

nope, pcb required… as well as eeprom

not cheap by any stretch of the imagination

and there are lots of criteria to be found before u order, such as serial number/drum type etc

you could start by giving us the serial number, but it might be best taking advantage of the hotpoint 5 year parts guarantee, would probably work out cheaper tbh

Update-found the recipt last night,its not a year old till 2nd march-rang hotpoint-engineer out tommorow.

😳 well i was at work and the engineer arrived,checked the machine and the condensor needed cleaningout 😳 it appears i cant read instructions 😳 nice guy he was did not charge us the £90 he should have charged-note to self-read the instructions.
