I moved the Tumble dryer from the garage to under the stairs, connected it to a spur from the same cuircit as before and it started, then after 2-3 seconds it tripped the rcd? I tried a diffrent ring and the same-have i killed it? this happened to me at a friends house and i moved the ring to the non rcd side, not possible unless i change the board.

    yours confused

What you have probably done is tilted it when you lifted it and the water in it has ran into the back fan chamber and is being thrown onto the heater. Remove the back cover and dry it out. Leave it standing in a warm room for a couple of days and then try it again.

Make sure and unplug it first!
