My Hotpoint CTD80P tumble dryer was having problems. Firstly the drum stopped turning, which result in replacing the capacitor.
Thinking that was that I then got an F07 fault code on the display when their was 10 mins of the cycle remaining. When researching on the net their wasn`t a F07 fault code for the Hotpoint.
But with the help of Iadom we found out that the lower element of the heater element was knackered. So the tumble dryer is now working fine. (Until the next problem)
So this post is just to let owners of Hotpoint tumble dryers that if you get an F07 fault code then this could be the problem.

You possibly didn’t look in the right place, different model but same fault code. 😉

    F07
