Could some kind person help to clarify the correct part number for a Door Catch (silver) to fit a Hotpoint CTD85A 95313580000 607050330 tumbledryer.
Connections show 1701821, but the photo of the part is different to what is on the actual machine.
All help greatly appreciated.

Do you mean the push/push latch mechanism? If you do then that is the correct part number. I did one last week, internal construction completely different to old one.
It comes with a new catch that fits to the door as well if I remember correctly.

Just an update.
Customer back from holiday and I fit the new 1701821 door catch silver, but it doesn’t work. Must be needing a upgraded door pecker (male). This did not come in the pack as Jim thought.
Has anyone the correct part number for this please?

The one I fitted definitely included a new latch for the door side and 1701821 is the only one shown on Partfinder. 😕
