Hotpoint D/W 71340 Super Plus – tech info

Anyone got any tech info for a Hotpoint Super Plus 71340 dishwasher?

This one was ‘going all night and got really hot’.

I suspect a stat rather than the timer, but with 3 different stats listed – 50, 65 and 85 degrees – which one?

Do check for broken wires in the door first.

Which stat? what cycle was it on?

She can’t remember what cycle it was on – she’s waited a couple of months to call me.

I’m assuming the 85deg is a protection stat, since it’s protruding between the arms of the element.

Since this has an old clockwork timer, though, does it still wait until it reaches temp before moving on, or should it move on and finish the cycle irrespective of the temperature?

Got the full manual on this one that you can have in the post tomorrow if you pm your address.
(It will be the door wiring)
