hi all this d/w has close door symbol in screen when door closed,have ordered latch but not sure,richard.

all it says in the owners manual is

Accidental interruptions
If the door is opened during the wash cycle, the text CLOSE THE
DOOR appears on the display. If there is a power cut, the cycle
stops. It starts again from the point at which it was interrupted
once the door has been shut or the electricity supply restored

have found service manual but does not mention it as all

it does mention that when started some machines can take over 5 mins to start due to the quiet running of components until unit is full
