hotpoint d/w fdw60 error code lights 4 and6

hi went to d/w today, fills with water then nothing.has to be emptied by hand. lights 4 and 6 flashing(heater fault)have checked heater giving a reading 0f 26/27 ohms so seems ok.are all stats built into heater or have i missed one .have noticed in forum that pcb can be a problem on these.any advice would be gratefully appreciated.paul

there should be a screw in stat at back right of base, however pcb is most likely fault.

thanks for that, think you are right. is there a reprogramming procedure with these or is it just straight swop.p

straight swap, when you 1st plug it in its in test mode but there is a sheet to explain how to reset it etc.
