Hotpoint DC28 error code help please:)

Hi
My Hotpoint DC28 dishwasher has stopped working and is displaying an error code:( Both the prewash and wash lights are lit (none of the others) and the drain pump seems to be trying to pump without pumping any water out. Is there something I can do to help it or will I need to call out a service engineer?

Could you indicate counting from the left which lights are on numerically please 🙂

That’s a no drain error so it appears the machine “thinks” it’s not empty even though it is.

Possibles are blockages in the pressure system or the pressure switch.

Engineer time perhaps ? Check the repairs@ link below.

Sounds like a pump blockage or failure, check the outlet pipe under the sink or wherever it is located for obstructions. After that it is an internal examination that is needed. Please remove the plug before you attempt to do this or click the link in my sig to see if we have someone in your area who can help.
