I have just got back from a job, a dishwasher with no wash action, fill and drain appears to be working. My hunch it is the wash pump. I took some readings from the connection points, it is showing very high resistance of 120k ohms. Correct me if I am wrong, surely it shouldn’t be that high.

On the display there is a light flashing on the wash indicator, I am sure it means something.

    Can anyone help?

First bit of help I can give is to move your post to the correct forum, the second bit is to point you towards the Known Error Codes thread at the top of this forum. 😉

DC28 has the 100 bit timer PCB.

    Thanks,

Without trying to appear to be blind…I did try to put it toward the error codes thread but I found a lot of it fits under Trade Technical.

I had some information about the 100 bit, I understand the light is flashing on number two which indicates inlet valve problem.

This is what I find it puzzling as it is filling up with water and it is draining ok. It is the wash that is not working.

Am I right assuming that the error code means inlet valve is not just the actual water inlet valve as it could be another interpretation of wash motor not working? Another hidden meaning I guess?

This error is often thrown up for non valve related faults, often a heater or motor with poor insulation readings will give you this error message.

    Jim.

NB. You posted it in the General Trade forum initially. 😉
