hotpoint DD77 double oven

this is a multi function oven main oven element went bang replaced and rewired old rewireable fuse, fan runs,element IS ok, but no heat on fan element or convection elements ( top oven ok.) live to both sides of both relays on timer, main stat ok, rear stat ok, no visable burning on selector switch, door switch ok, main stat switches neutral and is present at heater but no live, neon is not wired directly to stat but is showing on demand

what an I missing? anyone got a diagram?

Have you tried the door microswitch? These ovens are often fitted with a double microswitch (2 sandwiched together). It may just be one of the switches has blown. 😉

i had a similar problem to this last week where there was no visible burn marks on selector,i fitted a selector switch and it worked.

thanks for that Mike I think I might give it a go as no one even recognises the service manual part no (5412658)

just for interest I’ve been back and Mike’s right on the underside of the selector switch theres a clip linking two terminals ….. blown to pieces.
