Hotpoint DF62 S – Not draining properly

Help!
I’m a real stickler for rinsing everything before it goes into my dishwasher, so I don’t think internal blockage is likely, but the machine is not draining at the end of its cycle. I did have a blocked kitchen waste a few months ago which backed up and flooded the dishwasher but on that occasion the washing machine was affected too – and this time it isn’t. Could a pump have conked out? If this is likely, would a repair be economical? (The machine is almost 7 years old).

Any advice gratefully received; I HATE washing up!!

The pump may have failed but a blockage is the more likely.

So not too pricey if it needs replacing, if you need an engineer, check the repairs@ link below 🙂
