    HI

I picked up a second hand DF62 that had been standing idle for over a year. It pumps out and takes in water in the correct way, but will not circulate water to make it spray, even though I can hear that there is power to the motor.

I’m assuming its a separate pump that has stalled from standing, but I cant see how to get in to access the pump. Where are the access screws located?? Ive removed the front bottom trim, but cant see where best to go from there. Thanks for any help you can give me.

To be honest, if you’re stuck at that stage I’d suggest you get an engineer to take a look as many dishwashers are not the easiest of things to work on. In fact some can be a real pig of a thing to get into.

No offence, but I have scars from learning. 🙄

I would prefer a more constructive answer from someone please. I have successfully removed, repaired and replaced dishwasher pumps in the past on a Zanussi – this new machine simply has more cosmetic panels which may or may not need removing.

Anyone with experience of this model please?

The answer you have been given is very good constructive advice. This machine is very difficult to work on, access to the main circulation pump requires removal of the whole of the inner stainless steel cabinet, after removing many other parts, definately not a DIY job.

From someone who has ‘experience of this model’, gained I might add from over 37 years in the trade.

Also there are two different motors costing around £150.00
