Hotpoint DH93CX Fan Oven not fucntioning properly

Hi all, wonder if you can help.
I have a DH93CX and am having problems with the fan oven function.
When using the normal oven, this operates properly, however when attmptong to use the fan oven, it never seens to get to temparature, however the oven temperature light does extinguish, implying that the oven has heated as expexted. The main fan doesnt always start either and is given a helping hand to start spinning where required. Even when this is done, the oven still seems to struggle with getting to desired temperature.
DOes anyone have any ideas what might be causing this ?

Sounds like a new fan motor,should start up and run quickly enough to circulate the air so even temp in oven.
Fairly straight forward exchange,switch off at mains first !!

Thanks for the swift response,any way of testing it before swapping it out, just to make sure that is the root cause of the problem ?

If you need to help the fan to start running it needs replacing.

Thanks, so I am assuming that I should replace the fan and the dan motor, would that be the most sensible thing to do ?
