ParticipantHotpoint Dishwasher – LFS114BUK – 37544301000.
Tank Bottom Border a eStrip renewal.
Ordered a replacement – C00257104 from Hotpoint/Beko
The new replacement is totally different to the strip originally fitted. Contacted Hotpoint/Beko for help, told the strip has been modified many times over the years and although different to look at, assured it was the correct strip for my model.
They gave me an email to use to send images of the machine label, old strip, new strip and position of the strip fitment, I asked for info of how to fit the new strip and was assured again the team would respond with an answer of it the new strip should fit or not and if further parts maybe required.
They emailed back, they were only dealing with goods return, and was to contact the parts team for further assistance.
Despite already made several calls and assumed I was in contact with the parts team etc.
Can anyone offer any advice if the new strip is correct and any info how it should be fittedAttached are images of the model label, old strip, new strip and base of the door strip fitment showing grippers for the strip.

Moderatordont know if its correct
do know the seal is fitted and then its crimped every 30mm or so. all those crimps have to be opened before you can fit it and then crimped closed againwhen i look up your unit on the public hotpoint spares site it comes with the inner door as £122 but not shown separately

ParticipantThanks,
I queried that when asking about the Strip I have, but they said my item was correct and have supplied many for my model.June 15, 2025 at 11:21 pm #493093electrofix
Moderatorwell might well fit but uncrimping and recrimping the base might be difficult
but considering the price of the new inner door you have not got a lot to lose

ParticipantThanks,
Which way would the strip fit into the groove.
The ‘U’ to the gripper slot or inverted over the grippers.
As the machine is some 13yrs old, dont think it warrants the expense of a new door.June 16, 2025 at 8:43 am #493095electrofix
Moderatorwell from your 2 pics it looks like the rubber on the new one is a lot thicker
the profile shape is similar so look how the old one fitted as a clue
