    Hi i fitted a pcb to a a hotpoint dishwasher fdw70 and now it says error A09 can anyone tell me how to configure the pcb please

    software recognition error replace timer ? either wrong pcb or try taking pcb off then leave it half an hour and refit n some times works ..

    Thank you but dont see how taking it off and putting it back on can cure this as the pcb/time ris brand new.

    well just try it , have done this a few times and its worked 🙂 the only other thing is the pcb may not be programed had that in the past ..

    Assuming , of course you have ordered and fitted an EEprom?

    Dependant upon the date code you may have to carry out the following
    Fit the eeprom to the module and disconnect the small fourway orange plug.
    Switch on the machine for thirty seconds then switch off.
    Remove eeprom from board and refit orange wired plug to edge connector on module.
    Fire up the machine and hey presto it works.
    (this week anyway)

    Kiddo, are you saying after you do that it works without the eeprom even being there?

    Yes you remove eprom once fitted and it should work have check with a hotpoint engineer. 🙂

    Yup certain datecodes cant remeber which,you just use the eeprom to programme the power module(rather like this new smartcard thingy will work)
    It threw me first time i came across it and it can be a pig to do but works fine once up and running.
