Hotpoint Dishwasher BFI62

I was called to the above mentioned by an old customer, they reported the fault as follows:- load machine up select program and start, the machine then drains for a few seconds then stops. I fitted a new solenoid to the fill valve and hey presto we were back in business.
I got a phone call a couple of days later, the machine had completed a full wash but when they attempted an other load they had a reoccurance of the original fault.
I called back out changed the solenoid again (just incase) and it worked again but only for one wash.
Now when the machine is started it just drains continually and flashes the main wash light.

Any help would be much appreciated 😕

have you checked for water in the base of the machine if there is it will pump all the time

and the heater for any earth faults??
