We have intermittantly had problems with this dishwasher since we moved into the house. The dishwasher had been starting and then stopping mid-cycle. In line with advice, we changed the door latch which worked for one cycle and then the same problem started again.
The dishwasher is now not starting at all, and the first and second lights are flashing together (heavy wash and daily wash lights).
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions of what we can try? Don’t really fancy the initial Hotpoint call out charge if we might be able to fix it ourselves, or would be better off getting a new one!

Lights 1+2 signify a drain time out, the machine thinks that it hasn’t emptied in the allotted time. Does it still have water in it?
These Indesit machines are quite prone to pump blockages, the drain pump is accessible from underneath after removing the base plate, and the mains plug as well of course. 😉Follow the grey plastic drain hose into the machine to locate drain pump.
