Hi to you all,

A query on the top spray arm, are these supposed to knock on rotation? and have what I call excessive up/down movement when lifted by hand?

I think this top spray arm is catching against the cutlery basket and the top basket on rotation.

I have fitted a new genuine spray arm assembly to the top and this has made know difference

Jus wondering if it is in the lower position, as when larger items are placed in the spray arm catches them, JJ

It makes no difference at all, the top basket can be in the lower or higher positions. In the higher the arm seems to catch against the plastic nut securing the water venturi pipe as it enters the machine. If that makes any sense to you.

Take the basket out and try again .. at least you will rule out the baskets or define where the sound is coming from

Removed lower basket, same, remove top and it stopped, weird.
