ParticipantHello hope some one can help point me in the right direction, I have a Hotpoint Aquarius fdl570 for the last month it’s started displaying an error code (and stopping) it doesn’t always happen some times it does it’s cycle just fine, if it does happen putting it back on and it will normally then work.
But it has been getting worse and on a couple of accessions when the code is displayed the dishwasher is just pumping out the waste even when the door is open. And there is no water left. (I’ve pored water in at this point and it is pumped straight out)
The error code is rise aide and salt and wash and end.
I stripped both side panels off and have had it laying on its back with the base expecting panel open and every think is clean and no singe of water leaking or ever has done.
I’ve unclipped the waste pump and every think looks clean in there
And I’ve made sure the pressure switch tube is not blocked although I don’t know what or how that does what it does.
Any help would be appreciated.
(Note I am an electrician and have access to testes both contiutiy and voltage)

I’m sorry but you surely should have corrected that before you posted. I also have the same access but don’’t usually brag about it.:)
My PC is off ATM but you could check the error codes listed in the forum help section. Will have a look tomorrow if no one else replies.
Error Codes are here. https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/…er-fault-codes
Ignore salt and rinse aid lights. Sadly in most cases this is caused by a failing main circulation pump.

ParticipantLol still took me 3 rereads to see the mistake. Wish I could blame autocorrect for that.
Any further help would be good thank you even if it’s just to prove that every think else is not the problem.
And if it is the recirculating pump is it worth replacing on a 9 year old machine?
Thanks again

ModeratorThe pressure switch itself can fail but that is not common. The motor/pump failure on the other hand is a well known weak point on Indesit made dishwashers, Personally I wouldn’t go to the expense of a new motor.
