Hotpoint Dishwasher Not Starting

I have a hotpoint hbc2b19 uk n .The power and start /pause button are flashing. Also led’s 2 and 3 are are lit but solid .I have checked door catch heater and both pumps everything OK.I am tending to think either broken wire in door or Module.This machine is under a year old but in a nursery so gaurantee void.I was hoping that one of you have come across this problem and could help THANKS

Can I take it you get no sounds at all?
Module – unlikely
Broken wire – possible. Easiest way to confirm is to tug on each wire individually from inside the door

be careful with hotpoint board some need programming

you say lights 2 and 3 are lit which ones do you mean ?

Yeah, if someone has access to the service manual, interpreting the fault code is your best bet.

Given almost all power electrics on later Hotpoint/Indesit dishwashers like this one are in the base, a fault code is unlikely to indicate a wiring fault in the door.

All base-mounted power modules on Hotpoint/Indesit dishwashers like this come unprogrammed and require a software upload. But personally, with a fault code displayed, a fault with the electronics is the last thing I would suspect
