Been on a Hotpoint slimline dishwasher model as above. Its been in storage for a year from new in packaging (never been used). customer used for the first time and it starts to fill for about 30 seconds then eco and prewash lamps flash indicating blocked filters! obviously the filters are fine as its never been used, i have checked for water in the base and checked the flow meter reed switch which appears to be ok. Any ideas why these lights flash? fault on pcb ? (although its new)
    thanks

How was it transported, i’ve had a couple of new ones throw up this fault, when switched on, found an airlock in the pressure hose blew through the hose and it cured it, i reckon it was caused by being transported and laying on the R H side causing water to run from the sump up the pressure hose and cause an airlock.

    cheers jonnyj
there was water in the pressure hose, and the limescale in the water had hardened in the pressure switch entry, (couldnt make it click by blowing hard) once it was cleared all was fine.
