    Hi,
My Hotpoint slimline dishwasher (SIUF32120X) is showing an H20 and then F06 error code.
I understand this to be an issue with the water intake. I’ve checked the tap and filter at the tap, and that there is no kink in the hose.
I’ve done a bit of research and can see that it may be an issue with either the air brake turbine or the water inlet valve.
Is there a way to identify which may be the issue?
    Many thanks.

you can look to see how fast its filling

if its water turbine problem ( or wiring to it or the board) then it will fill quickly

if water trickles in slowly then it more likely to be the valve.

if no water coming in then it may be a number of things

    Hi Dave
    thanks for your reply.
At the moment no water is coming in at all. I think that in the last few cycles before the fault code appeared water was coming in slowly, but I can’t say for sure.
The machine is less than 2 years old and I don’t live in a hard water area so can’t think it would be calcium build up.
    Thanks.

Hi, yes, I’ve checked the tap and hose. No kinks and tap is on. I’ve checked the filter at the tap end and that’s clear. And there’s no problem with water pressure from the tap.
    thanks.

as an engineer the next thing i would do is check the coil on the inlet valve with a multi meter

am expecting 3 to 5k ohms but you must disconnect the wires to check it
