C00628818 Is a Bitron standard PTC lock used to replace the discontinued ITW ZV449 lock fitted to some machines on the door lock recall list.

C00307442 Is a Bitron PTC door lock with an extra door sensing switch in series with the PTC

When a sensing lock is fitted to a non sensing model It will work without issue

The sensing switch is used on some models to let the software know if the door is open or closed (without trying to lock it).

Sensing locks are used on some wash dryers and washing machines to tell the customer the door is open without pulling up a door lock failure error.
