Hotpoint dryer CTD80 wiring diagram

Would anybody have a wiring diagram for a Hotpoint dryer CTD80 as I have no heat, thought it was the stat kit this one has three stats and the middle one is open circuit, the one in the new kit is also open circuit so not the kit heater ok.

Possible heater relay or dry joint on module down on the right hand side.

nah, it would flash the dreaded f8

personally, id be making sure the pump was working, and the float switch wasnt activated

I haven’t been back to this yet going on Tuesday, I have just got a new thermostat kit (10703608) which has one-shot cut out, a cycling thermostat and an NTC, should I not get some sort of reading across this as both the one in the machine and the new one are open circuit

Looking at the wiring diagram it shows the NTC as closed circuit.

Both NTC’s will be OK, check it for resistance not continuity. 😉

It will vary with temperature but should be at least 1000Ω

Have just had a call about one of these with an “F10” error and would like to go armed.

Can some one send me the info please and can any one tell me what the difference is between the 2 thermostat kits (what is the difference between the black and white thermistors and are they interchangeable)?

F10 open circuit in heater common, possibly one shot failed due to bunged up condensor.

Err, one is black (TOD). C00208299, the other is white(ELTH). C00208298, they are not interchangable, both come as a kit.
