Hotpoint Dryer CTD85A

This dryer is dead. When you turn it on the blue on light comes on but nothing else, no display at all. All the programme buttons etc will bleep when you press them but there is still nothing happening the display panel does not light up at all. Ive tightened connectors from display board to module and inspected visually both boards and they seem normal. Im thinking its just the display board. Any advice please.

the last one i had was the display pcb, but ive had both do it

expensive for either or…..
