Hi,
Has anybody had any luck with trying to get Thermostats for this new type Indesit/Hotpoint/Whirlpool dryer yet. Ive had a few now with the stats failing. Not just the one shot but the main one too. Ive had another today but I still cannot find any trace of stats, just a complete element.
If anybody has found a way around it with an alternative from the old type ones or knows a part number that would be great.

I cant believe they’ve made thermal cut outs that are removable on the heater but are not selling them. Out of all of the machines I’ve been to where a new heater is needed, they’ve all been replacement machines on the recall list and the customers have written them all off due to cost and past history with Hotpoint. Its just criminal. Such new machines just being ditched for a £5 pack of stats..it is mad and it looks like its whirlpools fault for not fitting the ferrite and they don’t tell people that one do they
